Sea Dream #35 – Air Conditioning System

• Prior owner removed the liquor cabinet and had the A/C unit installed in a custom wooden enclosure.
• I replaced it when it failed with a new 16k BTU A/C & Heat Pump from Cruise-Air
• They sell a proportional diverter so most of the air is directed forward into the salon and the forward cabin, and just a little into the aft cabin to distribute the heat/cooling.
• This really works well and keeps the AC compressor noise out of the forward and aft cabins as much as possible.
• You can see the Vetus Splash-Stop device that is installed behind the compressor that eliminates fuel from splashing back up from the tank when filling the diesel tank.
